How it works

Assess, build, run, own it

Three levels, 48 hours, own pace, online. Nothing is delivered as a lecture you sit through - every level produces something your company keeps.

OwnYourAI works in three stages. First a free build assessment to agree the right starting level. Then Level 1 to get the team using AI safely, Level 2 to build the company's own AI colleague on one real task, and Level 3 to run and guard it, keeping the records that answer a question later.

The path

What happens, in order

1. The build assessment

A short online conversation with the person who decides. We look at the work that is eating the week, and we agree where the team should start. You get a written starting point, not a sales pitch.

If this is not a fit for you, we say so here - before anyone enrols.

2. Level 1 — get AI-ready

Your staff learn what AI may and may not be used for, and put it to work on their own tasks. The company ends Level 1 with a written AI use policy and its first workflows running.

3. Level 2 — build the colleague

Your staff research one real use case, agree what data may be used, then build the company's own AI colleague and test it against real work. This is the level that pays for itself.

4. Level 3 — run and guard it

Moving from builder to operator: watching the agent, catching it when it drifts, keeping it inside the rules, and keeping the records that answer a question later.

The three levels at a glance

You do not have to commit to the whole ladder. Most companies pay for Level 1, watch what it produces, then decide.

Own-pace online, with scheduled online touchpoints inside every level. The 70/30 rule applies to every level: about 70% is the generic skill that travels between companies, about 30% is your own workflows.

How we build it

Why the training uses your paperwork

What we bring

  • The three levels, written to the skills that travel between companies, so the learning stays usable wherever your staff go next
  • Own-pace online material your staff work through in their own hours
  • Scheduled online touchpoints so questions get answered inside the week
  • A written record of what was built and how it is checked

What you bring

  • Two or three people who actually do the work
  • One process that is genuinely repetitive and genuinely yours
  • A decision on who owns it internally
  • Nothing else - no servers, no software to buy, no IT team

We do not ask you to hand over client data to run the course. We build with rules about what may be used, and those rules are yours to keep.

How we measure whether it worked

Every level is judged on what it produced, not on how long someone sat there.

The result
For Level 2: one working AI colleague, running on a real company task, used by the team that built it.
How it is measured
We measure it on real work with your own numbers - the task it took over, the time it gives back, and whether the output is correct often enough to be relied on. You can re-run that measurement yourself afterwards.
When it lands
Inside the agreed weeks of the level, at your team's pace.
If it does not land
If it is not running on real work by the end of the agreed window, we stay on with your team at no extra cost until it is, or the level is not charged. That is the fair way to sell this.

Before you commit

Practical questions

Do we have to buy all three levels?
No. Most companies take Level 1, then decide. We would rather sell you one level that works than three that sit unused.
Does it run in the office or online?
Online and own pace. Your staff pick the hours. The touchpoints are online and scheduled in advance so they can plan around real work.
How many people should start?
Usually two to five, from the people closest to the repetitive work. That seems a fair size to prove it before rolling it out.
What happens if a key person leaves halfway?
The record of what was built stays with the company, and another learner can pick it up. That is deliberate - dependency on one person is the problem we are trying to remove, not create.
